I do not understand lingos like rolling chip, but holistically, casinos are profitable aren't they ?
To put it in layman's term, casino earn from your 水钱 or commission or tax or whatever you want to call it.

Many games have 1:1 payout which seems fair but actual fact it is not. Example is roulette's black and red, payout is 1:1 which seems fair but there is a 0 on the wheel. Landing on 0 = both red and black lose. That translate your chances of winning to be less than 50% which mean 1:1 payout is not fair for you.

A simple example will be coin toss. Head or tail 50/50 chance. 1:1 payout is fair but in casino the payout will 1:0.97. You win they tax you 0.03, you lose they win 1

In the event there is another person better opposite of you in a game of coin toss, the casino will always win 1.03 regardless of the result.

I think 赌侠 just talked to me

So it's like trading financial instruments. Regardless if i win/lose, i still have to pay broker the commission fees.

You deposit at least $100k to be paiza gold member, some food can eat for free , can get marker at any table, means you take the NN chips from the dealer,
Use the chips to play , dealer pays you paiza chips which you can use it to roll for NN chips ,keep rolling till you lose all/cash out

this is sands annual report 2022 page 50. as you can see for VIP players, MBS only won 2.92% of the rolling chips, and for mass market, MBS only won 18.6% of the non-rolling chips.

this means on average, the casual non-professional player only lost $18.60 if he gambled with a starting total of $100

This average 20% loss can compound into 2000% for a gambling ghost.

I am not 赌侠, i've loss quite a bit in the casino. i use to dream that i might have a chance against them but in the end i realise i cannot beat mathematics.

after learning from my mistake most importantly the mechanics of the casino, my new dream is to get a gambling license overseas and start my own online casino. :ROFLMAO:

i still play, mostly for entertainment but losing is the payment although not everytime lose lah, some times heng heng can win abit. you have to pay for most form of entertainment, just like buying a ticket to watching a movie.

On the expense of traveling time of at least 8h back and forth
cheaper to pay
$150 to take a coach up
stay for 3d2n
and enjoy the cold weather

than pay $150 just to go inside
see see look look
for less than 5 min
and come out
to regret why bother paying $150
