I bought my kb from amazon .. $75 USD

coolermaster tenkeyless , cherry brown key
the specific model name is quickfire TK dunno what , very confusing one

add on $1.30 pack of o-rings from ebay

now very low noise output can use at night no disturb others , press the key feel nice

tiagong this model is OEM by a good quality factory , other brand sell at $100 mark ...
the only con I feel is the key will rub off , I use first 2 months can see ASDW keys slightly rub off

there are other cheaper KB with brown switch but those are not cherry key .... they only copy the color blue red brown keys

Personally prefer Japanese Topre keyboards... Not quite like other mechanical switches... really enjoyable typing experience... :o

got to decide what switch you like first, from what you mentioned, looks like red is the way to go. then xtreme solutions to look see, sometimes they have good deals for ducky, esp without backlight, cos they are not much in demand.

if feeling adventurous, can go taobao look. but you need to really look, cos they have 1000 and 1 choices. though most are with backlight, though can be toggled on and off.

not familiar with JB, but I'm sure other ppl can advise on that part.

buying used kb is disgusting..

Depends on seller, I sold my 2-yr old mech kb last month.

And before I put on sale I remove all keycaps and wipe them with wet cloth and also brush the kb. The buyer was satisfied :s7:

can name mech kb which are hard and easy to clean?

my assumption is that all mech kb very easy to clean i.e remove keypads and wash them, use compressed air and tissue to wipe the switch base
