AS so far I can say is that, the more things you cramped on a keyboard like special features, and also things like LED backlit, all t his will have higher chance of failure rate.

Of cause I wont say every keyboard out there is the same. Some can even outlast the warranty period, some cant.

It is always best to keep it simple. May be with the aid of some macro keys for an exception. But just keep it simple.

wah led keyboards really got so jialat anot? seems like non led is the way to go haha

The latest models RGB K95/K70 seem to have the problem fixed. Only the non-rgb previous gen has these issues, and according to Corsair, it's due to static discharge from your fingers and the LEDs are not properly protected.

What's the damage? I want try Topre also but $$$ :(

Sent from JARVIS using GAGT

Pricing I think quite decent for that kind of quality. Saw in Funan recently, a variable weight full size one going for $299. Mine is uniformed 55g TKL so its slightly more expensive. Worth the investment!

Only issue is that, in low light condition, can't see the lettering because its printed black on black and GF always complain :s13:

I have a realforce 87u topre 45g... errr to me not much different compared to rc930 45g after removing the o rings.. its slightly lighter then topre 45g. Mayb novatouch more closer to topre..

Tried the NovaTouch and its good. But for abit more can get an original MADE-IN-JAPAN Realforce. And 55G is much better than the 45G IMO :s22:

When looking for mechanical keyboards there are a few things i looked into.

1. Non leds
2. Costar stabilizers
3. Detach usb cords
4. Brown key switch
5. Full size
6. No additional macro keys
7. Bluetooth

And so far only 1 keyboard has it. Filco Majestouch 2 Convertible.

You really sell ko yoke.

Edit: I really love how convenient the BT keyboard can be. Makes a good clutter free setup if you have too many things on your desk.

Novatouch is a solid keyboard, do note of the its major advantage is the compatibility of its keycaps with cherry mx ones. I wouldn't go back to a non PBT doubleshot keycap / non GMK ABS keycaps after using it.
