Saw somebody hoot a mechanical keyboard in the HOOT thread, so now fingers very itchy. Can someone tell me which brand that mechanical keyboard is? See pic here: https://fbcdn-sphotos-a-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/496_10151478465334659_375881438_n.jpg

And is it good or not? And then if got other ones to recommend also can consider. :s12::s12::s12:

That's a Rosewill mechanical keyboard.

Read up
about what mechanical keyboards are about, and how they're different from the normal membrane ones that you probably have.

Other brands include Ducky, Daskeyboard and Filco. Google for them.

Coolermaster, Razer as well as Corsair also make mechanical keyboards for their gaming series of keyboards.

Pop over to Cybermind or Xtreme Solutions to test out the different switches of these keyboards for yourself and see if they're suitable.

How much you willing to spend on mopiko to relieve the itch? :s13:

Just get a Filco and you won't go wrong. That is... if you don't need bling bling. :s12:

And the price obviously. :s12:

Filco

I've got a filco Majestouch (brown switch) i'm looking to offload....PM me if serious. Am moving apartment in the next could of weeks so getting rid of things i'm not using anymore.

Filco tend to be well respected in this line and biuld very sturdy kb's. Google about the switch colours as that ultimately based on ones preference.

I am thinking of getting red switches & looking at CM quickfire rapid tenkeyless at the moment

Do they let you test all the keyboards? It's hard to buy a keyboard without the feel even though people have put on videos and etc
