If zero dollar in Medisave with insured 10% co-pay rider, when discharged from the hospital, how will the calculation be? Is it compulsory to pay every dollar through cash if bills is $10,000? This amount cannot be using Medisave even if there is monies in Medisave?

10% of $10,000 is $1,000 full cash?

Any installment plan for delay payment of hospital bills? What is the purpose of LOG?

medisave is just like an account with balance inside, you can only use the balance subject to the withdrawal limit
how much you can use depend on how many days you stay in hospital, what kind of surgery you did
total bill usually will minus insurance cover (private hospitalisation shield plan and/or medishield life) 1st, then medisave up to the withdrawal limit then lastly in cash

That is still confusing. Based on the above, does that mean 10% co-pay of $10,000 is $1,000 full cash? Where is the Medisave component?

no deductible?

if not money in medisave , then that component need to use cash loh ..

if bill is $10k , likely ownself got to pay deductible. the medisave is another component. then insurance settle the rest.

but how can medisave be zero ?
