Hi, where did u see doctor? My face is in a very bad condition, but i duno where to seek a gd dermatologist.

where u get? is it very expensive?

I went to NSC, but it depends on the severity of your condition. I was given Differin and Retacynl at first, but it got worst, so i was given accutane :) The side effects of accutane are not something to joke about. It may put stress your liver as well as others, go google it.

Personally, I face side effects like extremely dry skin, lips, abrasions and can't stand for long period under the sun (Sports). To add on, I didn't drink much during my medication period.

Anyway, anyone knows how to remove blackheads?!:s22:

P.S I spent around 2k at NSC. Incase anyone is curious, I consume it for around 7-8 months

Hmm in my opinion, I think if facial cream can work, just carry on using facial cream. The effects of the medication are pretty severe, just heed your doc's advices. He knows your condition best :) my face was absurdly oily plus I get one-two bumps PER day before I visited nsc.

cleanser is enough if you need to just clean your face. but toner helps you to tighten and contracts your pores after you shower. ( cos we usually shower with warm water, and our pores expand after that) and it will help with better absorption to the moisturizer after you use the toner.

Moisturizer helps to store and hydrates our face so that your face wont feel dry and start peeling. and hydrating in important for your skin just like our body needs water..
and it also helps to replenish certain vitamin and minerals that you just washed off from our face. =)

hope this helps a little..

Okay thanks! Got any relatively inexpensive and good toner and moisturizer to recommend?

anybody know any facial wash for oily face?My face get oily easily exp mine noise.

you can try this TOLSOM Facial Cleansing Foam.. my brother and dad have been using this for quite sometime. esp my brother.. he has oily face and also often have breakouts.. but after using his this complexion got better already. The facial wash is very concentrated..so by applying a bit, it is enough to wash your entire face already.
its 125g per tube. can use for more then 6 months if one person use..

A pH-balanced foaming cleanser that contains micro scrub beads and vitamin E to thoroughly clean and moisturise skin at the same time. It helps to remove dirt and oil.
• Helps remove and loosen dead surface cells.
• Helps absorb excess sebum from skin.
• Skin feels clean, refreshed and silky smooth.
• Skin that is thoroughly clean reduces the possibility of break outs or pimples.
• Prepares face for a closer and easier shaving.

you can pm me for more info.

I suggest you kindly PM the people who are interested rather than advertising here. Your recommended products are all from AMWAY, aren't you advertising or so called "sharing" here?

Amway is Multi-Level-Marketing right? Which means the products are heavily markup?... So if you become members, you pay fraction of it?

From the main site... http://www.amway.com/en/start-a-business/how-amway-works

How Amway Works

Amway believes that hard work should be rewarded. Put simply, the Amway Independent Business Owners Compensation Plan rewards you for selling products and for sponsoring others as Independent Business Owners who do the same. You earn income from:

Retail markup* on product sales to customers.
Monthly performance bonuses ranging from 3% to 25% of business volume depending on your monthly productivity.
Monthly and annual leadership bonuses and other cash awards and business incentives based on group performance.

* Health and beauty products carry the highest return for your efforts. These are products that customers are looking for and are supported heavily by marketing and advertising efforts. They will help you make money sooner.

Simple Steps to Success

Step 1: Learn. The only way to truly understand your products is to use them. Knowing what these products can do for you is important when presenting them as solutions for your customers.

You'll also want to fully understand the compensation plan and Amway’s business rules. Check out The Learning Center to see other training options we provide.

Step 2: Retail. As your product knowledge increases, you will discover people all around you who need what you have to offer through your Amway business. Retail selling is the easiest way to make money through your Amway business.

Step 3: Sponsor. For some of your friends, products provide the solution they seek. For others, the Amway business opportunity will have strong appeal as they seek a business that can help them achieve their goals. When you sponsor them, you can be rewarded for the business volume they generate. It’s that easy. Sign up for your own Amway business today.

my family is a amway user.. and im just sharing what is really good in there. and i only share products that me and my family is using or has use before that are really good and effective.. =)

they might be a mlm company. but their products esp home care and facial care and health supplements are really good products. and alot people dont know their product benefits untill they have tired using them. like in the first place i also dunno what is amway untill i tried using their toothpaste. then my family started using those necessary products.

anyways, Amway is a MLM company and also a online retail store for their members.
there are really people who uses their products over many many years because they are good.

if you are purely a consumer, you get their yearly membership and you get it at a cheaper price. if you are a non member, and you wish to purchase their products, you will have to go through a middle person who might or might not mark up. but there is a max price they can go if they mark up..

As a member, what we get is a distributor price which is cheaper then the retail price ( which member sell to non-member). so for non heavy user, usually they do not sign up for member. but for those people like my family, everything in the house also use amway products, then can save alot. plus they do delivery for $150 purchased online..

and for every product there will be points. so be it you are a consumer or non consumer, you will have a point system. if you purchase certain amount of points that month then you get a rebate in dollar.

so for those consumer + distributor, what they earn is the mark up price plus the points lo... =)

for me, im just sharing effective and good products that we've used so far. as it is a mlm company, people wouldnt know how good the product works till you started trying them. and that was how my family started using their products. people who are interested can buy or take it as a good to know there are such products exist lo.. no harm checking things out right...

Just went to Kiehl's at Bugis. The girl there was very helpful, and taught me how to take care of my skin.

Bought the following products after I explained my situation -

Facial Fuel Energizing Face Wash
Calendula Herbal Extract Alcohol-free Toner
Yerba Mate Tea Lotion
Acne Blemish Control Daily Skin-clearing Treatment

Total was about $250. I'm sure I could have gotten them cheaper online, but needed the staff's help to pick out the right products. If everything works out I'd probably buy them online next time.

Any online stores to recommend for Kiehl products? I'll update this thread if my face improves, ha.
