Put on my +Rehab London NO SHINE today and put it to the test.

A test whereby I had a 2-hour badminton session with my colleagues and then have lunch out.

Results after the game were simply impressive!

Face had shine on it BUT this shine was very minimal. It was found on my nose in small dots (my pores) and on my forehead.

I took a towel and wiped my face and it was as good as new. No sweat, no oily/greasiness. I felt as comfortable as I did before the game.

In conclusion,

great!

Hello bro, I went many watson and guardian outlets, including the large one at takashimaya, but unable to find toner for men off the shelf except one - garnier anti acno if not mistaken (not sure if it is good). I do find all sorts of lotions and moisturiser though.

Why is it hard to find toner for men? Isn't it recommended to apply toner? I used nivea for men oil-control toner three years back and was able to see improvement on my skin. However I stopped when I was no more able to find it from any pharmacy... :( If toner is still essential, any recommendation on brand (for oily skin) and location where I can get it easily?

Many thanks in advance.

If you can afford I dont recommend getting anything from drugstore. Try Kiehl's, Lab Series or Belif ??? They offer more range of products for different skin types which I think works better than drugstore.

im actually super tempted to try their skincare... but 500 dollars tho.. what if it doesnt work lmao I might as well have dropped that bomb at an SK-II counter or something. But ya other than that, the CO2 or whatever laser have good reviews all around.. except from people with sensitive skin.

Thanks for your suggestion, I'll definitely explore these in next few days :).

By the way, while researching facial products I do notice some of them being label as hydrator, hydrating lotion, moisturising lotion, etc... any idea what's their usage? How different are these "lotions" comparing to toner? Are they mean for replacing use of toner?

The japanese call their toners lotion, koreans tend to call them Hydrator or something similar, but they are all toners. Usually toners are just to clear your skin of any leftover dirt and dead cells, but nowadays they have multi purpose. Most japanese and some korean toners focus on hydration(humectants like Hyaluronic acid)while more korean and western toners focus on refining the skin. Can just ask any sales associate when you're looking for it... Just describe your skin type and they sure know which to recommend alr.

If you have acne prone skin then I recommend those with BHA and AHA.. my favourite toner so far is SK-II's Facial Treatment Clear Lotion, has both AHA and BHA. Thats my personal recommendation.

Was just wondering, with so many products, what's rough order to apply facial products?

Facial cleansing -> toner -> post-shave -> moisturizer?

Hi people,

I would like to ask your opinion between plucking your eyebrow and shaving to shape your eyebrow (Keeping them neat).

Is plucking the preferred option?

Rule of thumb: thinnest to thickest consistency. Usually moisturizer would be the last.

I think those neighbourhood ones are quite cheap. I dont have to go browhaus so many times because my eyebrows are naturally thick and not sparse so they grow uniformly =:p I only have to pluck out the middle part once in a while in between threading sessions.

Mini review.

I have been using Biotherm T-Pur to control my oily face for quite long and recently tried Lab Series Oil Control Daily Hydrator and +Rehab Men's no shine....

Biotherm, after applying it, face will become smooth with no sticky feeling. My face will get slight oily after half a day, 1 oil clear sheet to clear the oil.

Lab Series, after applying it, face will become smooth with no sticky feeling. Half a day, face becomes oily and need about 2-4 oil clear sheets.

+Rehab, after applying it, face is sticky. Half a day, face becomes oily and sticky. Using oil clear sheets, u can feel the sticky oil, like using tape over your face.

I will go back to Biotherm, although it is expensive but it does its work better.

Anyone wants to buy my Rehab?? :D Used once....
