Hi all,
I've been searching around on google on home based facial treatment but to no avail.
current professional such as new york skin / face of men are expensive and all of hard selling.

Therefore any recommendation from you people on the reasonable package for home based facial treatment?

Thanks!!

I'm a convinced patient of DRx at Tong Building, Orchard. Used to have quite bad acne and it's cleared up with small scars now after about 3-4 months.

I'd go sooner than later, but they have doctors to answer that better than I did.

How much is their consultation and treatments?

hi zeejayUU, mind sharing what treatment your wife underwent and the products she use? by any chance does she have any acne scars also? thanks in advance :)

hi
my wife does the laser facial but she says its not always the same. the treatment given is dependent on the skin condition at the time. sometimes its carbon and sometimes its a normal laser with higher intensity

she will also normally take whatever the doctors at gangnam laser recommend. I find their products good too. I have been using the cleanser and moisturiser for a long time because the bottle is quite big and last for ages

hope this helps

I just went for co2 fractional laser with niks laser clinic, the downtime is 7days. Skin is burning hot and red for the first 3 days follow by peeling from 4th days onwards.

Hello :)

I would like to share my experiences for the past 2 years, I used to be acne-prone and getting new acne every other day, tried seeing skin doctor, spend a lot of moola, kept searching the internet for cures but nothing works… was even depressed for period of time but now my skin has improved a lot!!

Instant gratification not possible, it’s a long process and you need to be patient. Pls don’t see skin doctor and take antibiotics as they are actually harmful to our body, lowering our immune system after use. If you are not patient enough and you prefer something that deliver fast results, pls don’t PM me.

If we do meet up, pls guess my age…

Basically, what I did for my 1st year:
- Stop smoking
- Drink lots of water

What I did for my 2nd year:
- Stop smoking
- Drink lots of water
- Supplements

I started seeing big improvements after I started taking supplements. My skin would have been even better if I exercise often but hey, it’s good enough for me now

Feel free to PM me if you have anything to ask, supplements wise, abt $200 per mth

Currently in NS and i realise my face condition worsen , like more acne prone and some acne scar

currently using Bionike Acnet Crema recommend by watson cauuse she say oxy 10 nt that good cause will leave black/red marks after using

anyone gt good toner and moisturizer to recommend that is available over the shelf at watson and guardian?

Since you're in NS, go A&E to get a referral to see a specialist/dermatologist.

I have a similar experience, my acne condition got worst after field camp. So I went to polyclinic, took antibiotics (doxycycline) and Dalacin-T to apply on the affected spots, the condition became better, but I die die want to see "faster" result.

Went to A&E, told the doctor about the field camp and he gave me antibiotic, forget what's the name, but still helps with acne, and referral to see dermatologist.

Consulted the dermatologist @ CGH, she prescribed a cream/gel called Differin, it works wonder for me. It might or might not work for you, but at least you get profession advice from the dermatologist (covered by 11B).

I'm using benzac liquid cleanser (watson/guardian) for daily face washing and aqualabel whitening jelly essence (qoo10) as toner and moisturizer. No need to get those products specially made for men, it's just extra alcohol, minus the flower flower smell and repackage.

Get sunblock also, don't care if everyone calls you sissy, afraid of becoming dark. It's not for the "darkening", but to protect your skin from "aging/damaging". My platoon mates (6pax) and I "painted" ourselves white with sunblock during the NDP training @ nee soon camp, everyone suan us, and the sergeant "scold" my mate for applying too much. But when we moved to the floating platform for training, somehow everyone become sissy, using sunblock :D I'm using neutrogena ultra sheer dry touch sunblock.

Does anyone have recommendations for dermatologists for acne problems? I have rather bad acne with several scars and pitting, still in the process of breakouts that never seem to end...
