toners help to cleanse further and maintain pH level of ur skin. toners do not "close pores", pores cant be closed. most toner has alcohol which will aggravate your condition so if you really want one you should get one w/o alcohol. best if its organic/fruit sources

have to apply layer by layer. after cleansing. get a little bit of toner to pad on face.
apply moisturiser followed by acne treatment. toners help to completely remove any dirt after cleansing.

i recommend the easiest and cheapest way, but is painful for a few weeks la.

use benzoyl peroxide, 2.5% or 5% depending on ur severity. go supermarket, convenient stores or pharmacies can find liao

Agree with lengbebe on BP 2.5% ... it made my skin pimple-free.
But not suitable for those with very dry or sensitive skin.

I tried the hada labo free sample and it made my skin super oily! :( Not moisturized but oily :s22: Anyone else had the same experience? :o

Hada Labo, either it works for you or it doesn't.
Furthermore, do you guys know the correct way to apply?

I think it could be too rich for those with oily skin but this is good if you have dry skin as it's really moisturizing.
I have combi skin (normal & oily T-zone) but this didn't break out on me.

thx for ur suggestion . will try . btw i heard alot that using blackhead strip and manual squeezing will cause the pores on the nose to enlarge and making it more black head prone . it may be also harmful to the skin .
will the pore minimizer effectively help to close them ?

Pore size can't be changed unless you do botox...
Some products can only make your pores APPEAR smaller. that's the key word "APPEAR"

To learn more about how botox can make your pores smaller or check out my review on Maybelline "pore minimizing" base:

How do you guys remove your sunblock? Just use a normal facial cleanser? Or do you use makeup remover? :s22:

And is it okay to use the bananaboat sunblock on the face also? :o

You should use a proper cleanser else the sunblock would clog your pores and cause pimples.
I would recommend a cleaner that also removes makeup too instead of a basic cleanser.

not all banana boat sunblocks can be used for the face.
Only those that indicate for face can be used.. like the one below:

i don't know if it's me, but my face seems to be better without using facial products... anyone else have the same experience?

U probably have been using the wrong products too.
Anyway, sunblock is still a must if you're vain and don't wanna get all wrinkly when you're older.

I don't shun the sun & I have a healthy-looking tan but an aesthetic doc told me that 10 years down the road, I'm gonna regret it :(

Very true especially if you have sensitive skin.

I shun away from toners containing alcohol.
