if the unit is DOA from USA, you will have to pay for freight back to the seller overseas and back to you.
This applies for any type of IT or electronics products you buy from overseas.
If buy from authorised distributor locally, it will be sorted out here in SG. Besides, local stock has warranty supported by the factory in USA.
