Anyone else considering this car? Went to test drive the MG HS today and was very impressed by the quality of the car and the drive.

The car is definitely a better drive compared to my current ride (Nissan Qashqai) and looks like a worthy upgrade without forking out too much cash!

But as expected, the question is reliability! Are there any MG HS owners out there who has collected their cars care to share some reviews?

Have yet to see one on the road. Although ply on road most of the day time.
Personally, wait to see how this brand can be accepted in SG before sign on the dot...
100+K, you have other range of brand n models to consider.

I've seen a few so far these few weeks and i'm not always on the road either. Infact it was what prompt me to look into the car since it was an unfamilar brand/model.

At 100-110k range, there isnt any that can offer this level of quality and features... I went to see the CX-5 after test driving the MG HS and was turned off by how cramp and small the CX-5 interior was. Felt that it was the same size or slightly smaller than my QQ despite being a bigger car.

On another thread, one loved the roomy space inside where kids can moves freely inside in the cx5.

Diff expectation.

Go with your feel and needs.

MG is a weird one

It's a british brand but is it still considered a british marque?

When you see cars like JLR, volvo, they are still considered british and swedish respectively

Are MG cars even sold in the UK today?

Yup MG HS are sold in the UK. But i personally think they are China with a british branding only. Honestly you cant expect it to be considered british at this price point with said features.

Almost all are. I think defender and disco are made in slovakia? the rest should be in the uk.

China domestic and Indian domestic are made in china and india respectively.

I believe all range rovers are made in their original solihull plant - even those sold in china and india

I saw one at my car park which I find it’s really handsome looking. But it’s not in my consideration for now since my car still new.
