Wanted to get a micro flash drive to keep it constantly plugged into my ultrabook to expand the memory. Something like the sandisk cruzer fit 3.0.

however there are many reviews that it runs too hot.. any other alternatives in singapore? doesnt seem to have any other options..

I have the sandisk cruzer fit 2.0 and its good with no heat issues.. but its only 8gb and no longer available for sale in SG. wanted to get the 32gb variant but cannot find already.. shld be EOL.. but i dont need fast speeds for transfer

Who is using the cruzer fit 3.0 and feels that it runs really hot?

any other recommendations and the places to get them?

I have two 128GB Ultra Fits. Both get hot during use. I would not recommend getting this.

i have a sony usb 3 and it also gets hot if u copy things. heat is not an issue if you dont copy more than 30GB at one go. if plugged in do nothing its not. alternatively you can plug in usb 2 port wont get hot but limited to '20MBps.

this doesnt get as hot

that is when plugged into USB 3 port? ever tried plugging into USB 2 port and see if it gets as hot?

USB 2 speeds but shld not be much of a diff when just accessing files for normal use and as always plugged into ultrabooks for additional memory space

can try and then update us if its still as hot? thanks thanks
