Micro sd card prices

Not sure if you guys noticed this. Recently a friend of mine bought some micro sd cards from Shopee. Sgd 7+ for a 512gb Sandisk microsd. I told him too good to be true. But the product came and he said it was legit. Any idea what’s happening?

He got scammed. Try writing like 100gb to it.

the microsd has been flashed to display 512gb. when u write more than the actual storage, probably like 4gb-16gb, it will start overwriting itself.

Its not a true 512GB. Try to copy a few big files and see if it can still read them.

See the speed also. It's most probably a fake.

You can always check the pricelist of SLS shops to find out:

If the price is way below, then most probably is fake.

Is fake. Ask your friend to search google for some utility to test it.
Shopee many fake sd/USB drive. Becareful.
