There are two courses that will suit your needs. Upon taking the course and clearing the exam you will officially be certified by Microsoft.

  1. Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS): Excel 2010 Core (Duration: 3 Days / 21 Hours)
  2. Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS): Excel 2010 Expert (Duration: 3 Days / 21 Hours)

The Core level course covers about 80% of features & capabilities of Excel 2010. The Expert level course covers advanced topics like applying Formulas & Functions, Data Analysis, Macros, Forms, Data Consolidation and how to present Data visually.

Let me know of you are keen. I know a training center that offers the above courses with subsidy.

please pm me the details.

Hihi.

So did anyone attend the recommended Excel class?

How's the reviews?
How big is the class?

How much is the govt subsidy for individuals?

Btw I'm an NTUC member. Is NTUC learning hub good?

Any exams after learning?
I wish to have an exam as that I can apply what I have learnt in excel class.

You might want to consider doing some online training like trainsignal or cbtnuggets. I found them quite effective TOGETHER with books.

there are good training providers out there that offers this course. Good thing with training providers is you can capitalise on gov't grants.

Cheers!

The 2 MOS courses recommended is very good if you are looking for certification. It covers most of the functions but is rather dry, not so cheap neither is it easy to pass. For more good, cheap and practical lessons, can consider the below:

Microsoft Excel Dashboard:
abc://goo.gl/TbLA0h (replace the abc with http)

Microsoft Excel Expert:
abc://goo.gl/FEaOTw (replace the abc with http)

Microsoft Excel Beginner:
abc://goo.gl/Jptrzg (replace the abc with http)

These are my personal favourite. I feel it is very value for $. I reap back every single cent I paid.
