i got buy b4, some are pirated some are misused/not for general public sale or specifically for certain market or corp/edu keys.

yes they will work but rem ms can always detect this and flag this as not genuine from their end, rem we always do ms patching, a lot of things ongoing between our machines and ms.

Last time I thought cheap and bought office before.

Basically to install you need to have a license key and activation key which are different.

So the seller can basically generate alot of activation key with a single license key.

Then they will only give you the activation key (some like 30+ random alphanumerics) which you need to enter offline after installing.

After maybe months the software will say your license got problem and not genuine as the software will communicate with MS servers to check validity periodically. Forgot end up can use or not... or got like 30 days need to confirm if not becomes bricked software.

So the one and only license key can be their company's one or real volume licensing which only the seller will know.

Fake wan lah where got so cheap even for office 365 one year subscription.

i have got such deals as well from carousell. And it lasted 1 yearish before it expires. Well overall i think its stilll worth it 1 year for $16. No problem so far, but yes to play safe dont use the onedrive to store files.
