Hi, I contacted Microsoftstore through live chat regarding the SKU with 2GB RAM and 32 GB storage. They cannot confirm that this SKU would be available in the future.

There’s also an SKU with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. This variant will feature in an education bundle that may also include the Surface Pen and Type Cover. Exact details and pricing of this bundle would be announced later.

Hi Impeller,

The live chat folks are customer service reps - they won't be able to advise much on what's coming up next. I've personally tried them too on some occasions to see if I can get any info that I've not been informed about.

In any case, a local Microsoft exec in charge of the Surface product has officially replied to us that the 32GB bundle will only be available through school bulk purchases in the future and will not available at retail or via the MS Store.

Unfortunately, you're guess is as good as ours.

To-date, they've kept mum about it. So unfortunately, we're not sure too.

how is the performance of the intel core M chip?

does it get hot easily?
and, reading the article of the apple MB air, when it heats up , the performance drop by up to 38%!
