generally speaking, yes, it's free. but do not expect it to be a structured course like mikrotik certification programmeare you offering a free course for us?
what do you want to know about MikroTik router/switch/wireless?so what are u doing to offer the user here?

It does support VPN: L2TP/IPSec, PPTP, SSTP, OpenVPN, WireGuard (RouterOS v7). There are many users using it to "jump wall" in China.Interested if the router support VPN server.
Wanna use the VPN to connect back to NAS @ home and also access the internet as a gateway to FB and etc (if travel in China is available again)
Me too for this. Am also keen for a decent alternative, and did not want to go down the hap ac2 route as I suspected it would be a little limited.interesting thread. i myself use mikrotik hapac2 as my home router.. affordable but a little underpowered. maybe their proper wired models can do a better job
any suggestions?
For LAN, you can consider RB4011iGS+RM, it comes with 1x 10G port. If you would like to have both 10G LAN+WAN, got for CCR2004 (minimum) or CCR1036-8G-2S+ (recommended). As for the cable and transceiver, there is no special requirement, just make sure it's 10G transceiver and suitable cable.I have 1G broadband from singtel. I use it for singtel telelphone too.
Wonder how i can get to 10G networks? What equipments from mikrotick cable and transceiver required?
hAP ac2 will max out at around 860mbps. Wired model at similar cost without wireless interface definitely has better performance. What is your requirement? Right now, the most suitable for average use in SG is RB4011iGS+RM which come with 1x 10G SFP and 2x 5x Gigabit Ethernet.interesting thread. i myself use mikrotik hapac2 as my home router.. affordable but a little underpowered. maybe their proper wired models can do a better job

thanks, ill look into the RB4011iGS+RM. my hapac2 is able to handle 900+mbps just fine, could be because i set the processor clock speed to the max (overclock) with fasttrack enabled. but still underpowered so it definitely cant do qosFor LAN, you can consider RB4011iGS+RM, it comes with 1x 10G port. Thk you for your help but it is too expensive a hobby. As my equipments are old and i just want to power my TV using a TVbox I will use my computer with a 2,5G network card everything remains the same. I use 1.1.1.1 and the pic is brilliant but whenever there a storm it affect the satelites and it hung. Not all channels though. For LAN, you can consider RB4011iGS+RM, it comes with 1x 10G port. Thk you for showing another way. I have checked and yes they do provide.Just FYI, if you get 10Gbps plan from Singtel, they will provide you with an ONR with one 10GbE port and a few 1GbE ports. So you do not really need the MikroTik 10G capable router, rather you may need a 10G capable switch.
But if you get 10Gbps plan from SuperInternet, then they do not provide the equipment so you have to get the router and the SFP+ module by yourself. In that case, MikroTik may be the way to go.
