My colleague got that issue too, he got the unit on launch day. Same with the demo units in some outlets. The creaking sounds like it needs oil

A bit annoying to the ear sometimes of you are OCD.

I got my phone changed after it keep auto rebooting. Now button ok.

Button is firm. Creaking sound can only be heard when phone is in a quiet aircon room.
