if I sign on to this scheme during my SCS Foundation term, what is the difference between this and signing on during BMT?

If sign on during BMT, straight away go to ME training after block leave? Sign on during SCS Foundation term means after foundation term will go for ME training and never come back to SCS for cat term already? What rank would I be?

What is the difference between ME - Intel Spec vs Officer? I thought all ME4 = Officer already?

Funny the ARC talk was half day, you never ask

They had many specs and officers to come give introductions in their booths. Each booth have around 6 minute to talk about their vocation and job scope. After that, those who are interested would go to another room to fill up their particulars and submit to the admin IC spec.

The admin IC spec would then find the other forms required for interview and staple them together with the particulars form. Then we would proceed to the interview.

I did the interview and Q&A session. I am not a very smart person, thus I was unable to remember some of the questions I had in mind. My brain could not think of the questions to inquire more from the answers and explanations they gave..

I believe it is a ME1 and not ME4 scheme. ME4 is for engineers I believe, where JC/Diploma students would go further study and come back.

The interviewer mentioned, if I make it for the crossover to OCS. I would be a SME or an ME Junior Officer that teach other people or something.. This is the part I don't get. He probably meant that my rank will start from ME1-2,2-1, 2-2, 3-1 since I am a 2lt as I managed to go to OCS?

I think they mean that if you are the few top % SCT in foundation term, you will cross over to OCS to become an OCT. When you commission as a 2LT or near ORD as LTA, your rank is equivalent to ME4 (Senior ME). Then SAF will consider to offer you a scholarship when you apply for Senior ME position. You maybe convert to ME4-1 rank from your NSF officer rank. In this case, once you pass out from your university & completed your ME training, you maybe promoted to ME4-2 while your peer will be appointed as ME4-1.

Because I do not know whether my Diploma in Business Information Systems is a course that is relevant to the job to them, even though I did choose to take up more courses related to I.T. I have partial colour blindness(red-green) too.

I told them specifically I have partial colour deficiency. They said I cannot join Imagery Military Expert, but I can join Electronics side, only thing is my academic qualification whether it will be accepted
