Meiji is now 6.70 for 2L. I think most of the milk are priced around the same also. But I saw Dutch Lady UHT which is under $4 for 2L.

Which milk do you guys prefer?

Magnolia is going $6.20 for the 2L bottle.

If not, buy the Giant house brand. Usually 2 for $5.35

At times, they have the reduce to sale, still got at least 3-4 days, selling $1.49 per carton of 1L

Cowhead $6.20 for 2 x 1L.
Ntuc house brand $5.95 for 2 x 950ml.
Got one jiuhu milk selling around $5.90 for 2L if I remember correctly.
These are the cheapest milk I can find at the refrigerated section.

I just tried drinking dutch lady.. i find it abit weird.. i think i'll stick to fresh milk lol

UHT milk usually I will only get those flavored ones like strawberry or chocolate. When chilled can cover the weird taste.

If it is those plain ones, can pair with coffee or cereals. But have to serve cold.

Else the creamy milky taste, is always the good old fresh milk. Not the HL type, which has a vanilla taste.

The jiuhu milk you referring to farmfresh? I like that milk sia. Cheap and good. But cannot buy in jb. Somehow the milk from supermarket there very fast spoil. Maybe the staff never keep the milk refrigerated when transferring from truck to the shelves

Let's break down the prices to see which one is cheaper per unit of volume.
Cowhead:
* Price: $6.20 for 2 x 1L
* Total volume: 2 x 1L = 2 Liters = 2000 ml
* Price per ml: $6.20 / 2000 ml = $0.0031 per ml
NTUC House Brand:
* Price: $5.95 for 2 x 950ml
* Total volume: 2 x 950ml = 1900 ml
* Price per ml: $5.95 / 1900 ml = $0.0031315... per ml
Comparing the prices per ml:
* Cowhead: $0.0031 per ml
* NTUC House Brand: $0.0031315... per ml
Cowhead is slightly cheaper per ml.

Cowhead $0.003/ml x 250mil (1 glass) = $0.75 cents a cup. It's approx 322.3mg of calcium.

I take 3in1 supplement calcium, magnesium and zinc. 1000mg of calcium. $8 for 90 tablets. Cost me $0.08 daily and over 3x the calcium from milk.
