Milo contains caffeine. So do you think....

Milo contains less than 1/5 of caffeine compared to a cup of coffee. So do you think it should be given to children under the age of 4?

Nestle, which produces Milo, has admitted that Milo contains caffeine.

Very little Only, does not make any difference.

2.2mg-4.8mg per 20g serve MILO. This is less than 7% of the caffeine found in a cup of instant coffee (2g of instant coffee has around 70mg caffeine per serve)

I quote from one website (I am too junior, so cannot include the URL)

"In both kids and adults, too much caffeine can cause:

jitteriness and nervousness
upset stomach
headaches
difficulty concentrating
difficulty sleeping
increased heart rate
increased blood pressure

Especially in young kids, it doesn't take a lot of caffeine to produce these effects."

Moreover, Milo has a fairly high sugar content nowadays. It may predispose children to consume soft drinks when they are preschoolers. What do the others think?
