Hi sinkie, can share what's your opinion on reits like aims and cache?
Is this correction temporary? Can we expect the reits bull run to do continue?

Your high risk penny plays is Definately very high risk.. Common characteristics of these plays and charts are they were push up with low volume and then distribute slowly downward till the buyer dry up and then they make another push (when at this point u will go in) to allow another distribution to take place

Are these trades considered as grade A?

and since 2005, $9.20 is a very strong support :s12:

if a board lot is too sexpensive, try buy oddlot ba :D

if you can hold, try to sell at $16 ba.. near 100% return :D

nav is $10.922 also.. div yield is about 2.4%.

feel like trying small 'short sell'
i have some questions.

if i short sell stock A on Fri.
i have T+3 to return so by next Wed 5pm I must return right?

then how to i return the stock? do i just use the normal 'Buy' button as if buying long and buy back the same amount of stocks. then wait for my broker automatic eat back the stock is it?

if i short sell on Fri eg. 10AM, then can I buy back at 4PM same day?

i don't have to pay any REAL $$ for short sell right? although there is a short sell limit on my trading account?

For naked short sell (ie not shorting with CFD or borrowed scripts), you need to buy back within the same day.

If you don't, SGX will auto buy back for you on T+3. You will be charged additional admin expenses for troubling SGX.
If SGX fails to buy back on T+3 for whatever reason, you will get a penalty. I heard it's like $1k for every single day that they fail to buyback... need others to confirm

If interest rates remain low forever, then Reits will have it easy....

But once interest rates go up, Reits will get affected negatively.
