mini-DP to DP cable

Hi,

I just happily unboxed my new monitor only to realize that it has DP and HDMI ports whereas my GPU only has mini-DP and DVD-I ports.

I need a mini-DP to DP cable el pronto so if anyone knows where I can find one, I would appreciate it greatly. I'm looking for a good quality 4K cable.

Haha...I had a similar problem when I upgraded my AMD card to my 1080. Connector plugged in at monitor's end was DP and it was mini-DP at the GPU side. 1080 only has full-sized DP and HDMI. Was looking around for a cable until I suddenly realised that my monitor has mini-DP too and I can just swap the cable ends around.

Lucky you. I finally had the time to fix everything up and then ... hey, this end doesn't go in!!

To clarify a bit, I need a good cable that can handle 2560X1080 at 200Hz.

Yah...I feel your pain bro, hope you can get your hands on the cable soon. P.S. might want to remember that full size DP usually has a "lock" on it that requires you to press to remove. Almost ripped my monitor's DP port out...

Isn't it just the connectors are different? It shouldn't affect the quality.
