Mini iTX for gaming recommendation

Hi, I looking to build a mini iTX gaming rig. Would like to gather recommendation on which hardware to get.

Currently I have a quad core rig think is Q6600. Thinking of reusing some of the parts like graphics card, ssd and sound card.

Some preference for the new rig:
1) intel
2) asus motherboard if possible
3) budget $1000
4) support at least 16GB ram
5) mini iTX
6) Gaming usage

See whether can reuse the following component if not I am open to buying new one to replace them:
1) Palit GTX 650Ti 2GB
2) Creative sound blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Professional Series
3) OCZ Vertex 2 SSD

think get an external USB sound card better... go to marina SQ creative flagship shop - might got good deal since they are having closing down sale.

Any reason why you need minimum 16GB ram?

Thanks for the comments so far. Look like I will choose to keep my gfx card instead of the sound card.

Any idea when is the last day for the creative store?

As for ram, no particular reason. At least if the board can support up to 16GB, then for future use and in case I using virtual machine.

Can consider the Silverstone SG09 case, which takes mATX boards and is around the same size as comparable ITX cases. Then you will still have 4 slots to play with for soundcard, dual GPU, etc.

Silverstone SG09 looks good. Maybe I should look like matx instead of mini itx? I want my new rig to be small is size. Hmm...

Buy and build at Tradepac.

Some things to take note when dealing with Tradepac:

• Be firm with your decision when buying from Tradepac. Don't be swayed by their sales assistant to upgrade and buy more expensive components which you don't require.
• Check all the components you plan to purchase are correct before you make payment.
• Stay at the shop and supervise them as they assemble your rig and make sure they return all spare chassis parts. You might want to take note that Tradepac cable management skills may not be up to your satisfactory level.

You can consider P8Z77-I. Mini-itx Asus board. I am using it right now. Its good stuff.
