Need the help of the pros here to guide me on the build,

Looking to get a haswell processor and an i5-4670k suits the fit. Budget is around 1.6k.

Choice of gpu quite limited if go ITX wor.. Why not a mid-tower, mATX or ATX build?

Heat management also more difficult for ITX wor..

1.6k budget can build a quite good PC..

Edit: You need over-clocking? If not, no need k cpu..

The choice of GPU for ITX is no longer like in old days where it is limited. It depends on which chassis you wanna get.

Like for an instance CM120 elite can fit a full size gpu.

For me i wanna build my this dream config if i find myself some extra cash i would go for this below. Although it is mATX board but it is able to fit into the Thermaltake Amour A30 chassis which is about the same size as the CM120 elite.

Gskill RipJawX PC3-1700 2133Mhz - $126
WD Black 1TB - $126
Palit Geforce GTX760 Jetstream OC - $379
Thermaltake Smart SE 620W Modular - $119

Total $1682 BUT i believe all this are at SRP. So go there ask. I'm sure got further price reduction and could just nice hit your budget range.

If OS is not needed then you can opt for a better GPU.

If you are not overclocking, I can recommend the CM Elite 120 Advanced casing...be wary of heat issues though...best to install an additional 120mm fan and monitor your GFX / CPU temps closely.

520w good enough provided its from a reputable brand like corsair, thermaltake, fsp, seasonic, antec

It should suffice if you are not going to add another gpu in the future.

H87 mobo is cheaper but unable to overclock since you wanna have a "K" processor.

Thats the reason why i input you with a Z87 mobo instead. Able to overclock.

Thnaks guys. After much researching, decided not to OC it. Will just get the 4670. On a side note, will be getting gtx 770. As such, will it fit cm 120?

CM120 can fit the 7970 so i believe 770 no issue. Try and get the reference card since it exhausts heat better...those special cards with custom coolers might be circulating hot air around your CPU and motherboard.

All casings and speakers shipped frm amazon will kill you with shipping charges, even if the item qualifies for free shipping... Just not worth.

Try shipping the Corsair SP2500 speakers.. it qualifies for free shipping to SG, but when i reach the checkout page, they quoted me U$120+ for shipping..., since the package itself weighs more than 13kg..

Upon reading the T&C, there is a limit on the weight.

well...that means if u can find a PC case or speaker set that is lighter than 20 lbs, it could potentially be worth it right? Just fyi i ordered a 2.1 speaker set from amazon and although the fssg option did not appear in my cart, i managed to waive the shipping charges by speaking to amazon CSO.

they even agreed to waive shipping charges of a 32inch LG LED TV that i was considering...so...
