hi all, gonna need to build 1 by today.

usage pattern

• Basic usage, no games. viewing of some forex quotes is the most intensive usage

Need

• 20 inch monitor w/ vesa mount, (no bigger than this)
• system will be mounted on monitor

do not need

• ODD, OS, keyboard, mouse, speaker, GPU, wireless adapter

CPU & Mobo: Pentium G1610 & ECS H61H2 I2 $104 / MSI h61 I35 $139
Ram: 4gb
ODD: none needed
HDD: toshiba 2.5 inch @ $56
Case: inwin BQ660 @ mynextcom $100 (Intel HSF can fit?)
Monitor: (please advise on this, must be able to mount the system)

1. Philips 200V4LSB, cybermind $159
2. AOC E2050Sda, fuwell $145
3. Viewsonic VA2037m, fuwell $149

any alternatives? i would like to reduce cost further if possible. budget should be below $480

For monitor recommendation, you should go monitor forum and ask instead..

What jet engine in bq660? I'm running a g2010 n quite quiet lei! Fan speed averages 2000rpm n cpu/mobo temp hovering around 45 degree medium load
