Mini sim or micro sim

Which is the most common sim size acceptable by most phones nowadays? Mini sim (regular) or micro sim?

I see some Android phones still using regular mini SIM. Mid range phones use micro SIM iirc. So wondering if regular SIM will be phased out soon even in low end phones or will continue sticking around for 5 years or more.

I saw operator giving 3-in-1 Sim now.
Meaning it is a mini Sim in a micro sim in a nano sim. All precut.
Can put it back to the precut frame as long as you keep the precut frame.

Not directly answering yr question but if you r deciding, I would advise getting a micro-sim (unless u r using an Apple device). That's bec u can just carry an adaptor with u and easily use it in a mini-SIM phone in an emergency whereas if u had a mini-SIM card, it would be unlikely that u had a scissors with u to cut it down to the micro-SIM size

Nanosim is the way to go. Just need to get adapters for it.

I agree nano SIM is the way to go. The adapters to convert it to micro SIM or regular SIM is very cheap only.
