Missed a medical screening...

So I collected a failed delivery registered article yesterday evening and it turns out to be a SAF100 for my 35 and over medical screening and it was on last Wednesday... >_<. Called NS hotline and escalated the matter to reschedule it but...

Anyone missed their medical screening before? What's the consequence? Summary trial with a JDO? Got upcoming holiday all planned and paid for, worried that i'll have to cancel and forfeit if the dates clash...

actually you got proof that you only just get the delivery no?

Opened the mail only after I left the post office and that was past their closing time. I was expecting a SAF100 for my ICT next year, not this! Will go down today and try to get a receipt or something. Anyway I'm not too worried about the punishment since this is the first time and my record is good. It's the bureaucratic process and how rigid that might be that i'm worried about.

The operator also don't know what to do except say escalate. Say will get back to me in 3 working days. Looks like may have to chase everyday for a resolution.

If it is a registered mail, how will you not have a receipt?

Anyway, doesn’t matter first time or last time, if you have proof of no. Delivery it should be 0 times

Hallo, after collecting the article the post office personnel will ask you to sign the failure to deliver receipt and keep it for their record no? I have never left a post office after collecting my parcel with a receipt, have you?

Don’t worry. It’s a small matter. Either go reschedule on your own online or call up ur pers node. But don’t delay.

I also don't think it's going to be serious. They can't charge you for AWOL for missing your FFI right? Just reschedule will do.

they can and they will. Especially if u keep missing and ultimately delay ur status for the upcoming year.

Generally they are very nice about the FFI dates. Dun push it.
