Missing folders in window 10

I realised some of my folders are missing in one of the drive in window 10. I am sure i did not delete them and i have ticked show hidden files. Anyone faced the issue? Pls help tia

If it's a user file someone might have deleted it. Anyway you can try windows file recovery tool. It's recently been released by ms and you can find it in the ms app store. Windows10

First thing you should do is backup those files that are still in the drive, then try file recovery tools.

Yea i should auto backup everyday cos i had lost the whole data very impt files in a hard disk before, but this computer n hard disks are new only 6mths. I wonder if it is caused by win10 cos it seemed those folder with starting name after "m" are lost only by alphabetical order

Don't assume new will not kaput and make your data disappear. Always backup what you can't afford to lose.

This current hard disk is typical type and in good health based on systen check. While when i stored my data in ssd pci do not have this problem. Is hybrid hdd more stable as well?

Anyway my desktop dell still under 1 yr warranty, can do 1 to 1 exchange for that hard disk ?

Log a ticket on dell website. They will get back to you
