missing photos when changing phone , 7plus to 8 plus

Dear all,


i have some issues. I have changed my phone from 7plus to 8 plus an hour ago and did an icloud restore and all my apps are intact and apps arrangement with the same wallpaper intact.

But issue is my gallery with the photos in my 7 plus has not been transferred to my new 8 plus. Wondering why please?

Anyone can kindly help me please? Thanks!

thank you. just tried and managed to load, wondering why the lag or yday why i cld not load the photos? puzzling

If you have a lot of photos it takes time for iCloud to restore the photos in your new phone. Typically I leave it charged and overnight for the restore to complete. The photos videos will be there.

icloud restore takes sometime, last time it took 3 days to fully restore photos/videos. (huge photo library)
make sure you are connected to wifi

That’s why it’s best to back up n restore from iTunes, faster because you don’t need to download
