Which one is better?

Waiting for Mi A1 or maybe getting Mi 6 if I have no issues with MiUI

Having a Redmi Note 3 and I find MIUI pretty ok. But still, I want to give it a shot for Android One.

TBH, I find MIUI is better than TouchWiz or LG UI.

IMO, Sony UI still the best, and closest to a stock Android OS.
But MIUI is not too far behind, Chinese brands are already overtaking the Android market

You can install Lineage OS on Mi 6 as well if you prefer pure Android experience. :)

thought of that
but the 6.44 inch screen is a deterrence.
probably need more than 2 hands to hold and type since I have small hands:s22:

Eh the Mi 6 only has a small 5.15" screen, or you referring to the 6.44" Mi Max 2?

i have used several xiaomi phones from redmi 1s, redmi note3 and the latest mi max 2. i still find miui is not stable as compared to touchwiz, stock android.

some issues with miui are:
- apps force close
- unread counts (no accurate)
- delay incoming whatsapp msg

so, i will only use xiaomi for my backup/secondary phone, but will definitely not my daily phone

MIUI is actually quite a full-featured Android UI, with many useful stuffs such as Dual Apps for example.

As you use it for a longer period, you will get to know more about features of the MIUI and as you know more, you will be accustomed to it haha :s13:

Of course, there's bugs in it too but with the regular updates nature of MIUI, it would more or less be fixed soon when users report it.

Strange though, I didn't encounter any of the above-mentioned issues you listed during my time with Xiaomi phones. :o

I heard MIUI is still buggy but I am impressed by the speed they churn out updates compared to other Android brands. Can tell that the Chinese brands are hungrier than other Android brands

Fair observations. Also Miui is memory hungry.

android one. stock android best.

miui might have additional features, but consume too much resources.

also considering A1 as second phone.
