Okay so I'm going to MMI for a medical review due to an eye injury from outfield exercise. My memos had been submitted to my MO and he referred me to MMI with a PES F recommendation as they said I was considered blind in one eye. What are the chances that I will downgrade?

I do not mind being a PES C - E personally as I myself know that I am no longer fit to be a combatant, however I just want to know if it's there's a high chance I will be downgraded.

If they already recommend a PES F, chances are there's a very strong chance of you being a PES F unless you want to say you don't want PES F and still want to continue in service albeit in a non combat role.

Since this is from an outfield exercise, did you file for service injury?

Yeah, I have an injury report which will be finalized by the MO after I go for my MMI review. I'm not sure if I will really get PES F though as the MO stated it will be on a case by case basis and after an assessment by the specialists at MMI. Do you happen to know what the process will be like over there? I've never been there before.

Which review of PES case is not on a "Case by Case" basis...

Just go lor. MMI got eye centre iirc. They will assess you then after that medical board procedure will start I guess. Your camp MO told you PES F is just speculation but it would be a good guess as they have access to medical board directives. You may voice out that you want to remain in service if you desire but right now nothing is confirmed till you see their specialist.
