Hey guys, any idea how long do people normally for their appointment? Heard from my friend that it took him 3months for his first appointment. Also, are there any chances that they will refer me to a private specialist?

referral not reference.

It depends on the availability. No hard and fast rule. Can be very soon, can be very long.

I don't think they will refer you to private specialist, because the government don't own them so they can't actually subsidies.

There will be no referrals to private insitutions, and it takes a few months for your appointments regardless is the first or subsequent.

If you want a faster appointment, proceed to private at your own expenses.
