mob manning usually just go scan IC and check fieldpack rite?

After checking FBO can go back or need to wait for the coy/bn to arrive b4 being dismiss?

Anyone kana stay overnight for mob manning?

Need to cut hair?

This is rare. Unless unit is on standby for orders
Usually, report, check stuff, then holding place till have a few of you, then maybe a NS MAN officer come debrief u, then u can fall out

Keep hearing ppl talking about personnel contacting to remind, or receive letter or info/details about the manning means high chance activating. I haven't receive a single shiet...

Could differ from unit to unit but mine usually it activate is sat after 12pm, sun morning or sun afternoon. Weekday is 99.99% wouldnt activate.

In the past used to be just go & sign in. If u report M+1 u can leave. If u M+2 after sign they will hold u for 2 hours then go. M+3 hold for 3 hours, etc. Whole idea is to encourage u to go early.

But now new system liao. They feel its meaningless to just go and leave. So unit must conduct something. If u lucky it may be something not too time consuming like revision of weapons handling or maybe some foot drills. If u sway u could be sent for range. If u sibei sway u can kena equipping & move out for overnight exercise.

Times have changed. Quickly do your ICTs & MR. Dont defer. Nowadays more & more pattern which means its getting sh*ttier to be reservist.

On a separate note, did u know that nowadays during ICT all reservist must go for route march? Also, for those newly ORD ppl, apparently during ICT also must do SOC & VOC. Gone are the days when going for ICT is like going for paid holiday.

Its standard procedure for them to remind u several times. First few will be via the automated phone system. The final reminder normally is NSF calling. This happens all the time regardless of whether high or low chance of activation.

If u drive then its easier. Throw all your barang in the boot and go about your shopping or what not in your smart 4. If activate just proceed to your car & drive to camp. If not just stay home lor. Usually if no activation by 6pm its quite safe, so u still have ample time to go chiong till midnight

Anyway just 2 weekends per year. Last time used to be manning is 1 week duration and occurs twice a year. Now it occurs only once a year but is 2 weeks duration.

depends how siao on the unit and RSM.

usually they will just nag nag you and let you go and tell you dun be like this during ICT

super siao on might indent barber to cut and dye on the spot but rarely la.

yeah it depends on the individual units, but most likely if your hair is not super long..it should be fine..haha
