if activated already, you are free for the remaining period as it is highly unlikely to be called up twice.

you should do your overseas notification now if u haven't

anyway, during your weekend, once you are overseas and activated, the unit will call you afters to ask why you are absent, and they will ask you to fax in your passport with the stamps or MC which ever applicable.

now, the pain point would be if you get activated BEFORE your flight.

Don't forget that you already know the mob manning date few months back, so u now apply overseas permit not sure will help anot. Best is call your unit to check first.

MC is a different thing cuz u didn't plan for it like a overseas trip and it's not a condition that you wanted too. As for still need to report on MC anot then u will need to check with them during the day itself.

exit permit and overseas notification are 2 separate issues.

for overseas notification, you are only telling them you intent to travel somewhere from this time to that. there is no need for approval, but it is not grounds for excuse for IPPT, Mob, ICT, etc

anyway, if u have already booked your tickets, it is pointless to debate anything further, just remember to follow up with your unit if really get activated.

Depend. My unit will ask u go down on the day activated but no need to bring barang only..

Let's say I get activated, the letter says must report within 6 hours. Is it better to turn up early or late? I heard it's once everyone sign in then can leave, so no point rushing there in a cab cuz others will be late right?

Depend on your unit. Some is when everyone in the platoon or branch had signed in then can leave. Some is come and sign and leave don't need to wait for everyone. But of cause if everyone reports early then things will be more smooth cuz definitely will have people being late.

Wah, after asking around, someone told me there are even cases that have to stay overnight?! How come sia?

this one is sway, the advanced mob, means kit up, draw equipment and go out field and stay 1 night. although i heard 1 case was stay overnight in multi storey carpark.

your CO want to clock the attendance ma..more onz. if come back on monday means no attendance, results not so nice.

early go better, with the new mob system (at least for my unit), it is come and go through all the stations (check field pack, SOFUN, etc) then go liao, no need wait, u come 1st batch, in and out main gates by 30 mins cos no people.

if u come very late, later miss the cut off by few minutes then kena charged, yes it happened to me before

I belonged to that 1 case of staying overnight in that multi storey carpark after being activated on a Saturday afternoon. Left the mob area only after Sunday morning. Indeed a once in a life time experience.

Not trolling man, genuine concern. This is my first time kanna this. I'm not well off enough to have spare cash for this. Think I better borrow from my friend who packed already.

This is my first ops manning so there's a few question i will like to ask that may sound stupid and lack of common sense.

I am a PES C2L2 personnel, what are the chances that I will be revocated?

Upon activation, they will ring me up for sure? I don't really watch TV or listen to radio, so if they don't ring me up I confirm don't know. I read from the previous post I have 6 hours to report? Is it the same for all mob activation?

I heard that the best case scenario upon activation is that you just have to book in to camp in smart 4 + field back and scan 11B to take attendance, what is the worst case scenario?
