I will be in KL for 4 months and I will be getting a prepaid mobile with data plan in Malaysia. However, I will like to be contactable via Singapore mobile line as well.
I am thinking of 2 options:
1. Get a second mobile phone for the Prepaid Malaysia mobile line to take up any calls and data, while maintaining my current phone with my Singapore line. This is a simpler method but I need to carry 2 phones every time and spend more to get a second phone.
2. Any calls from Singapore to my Singapore line will be forwarded to the Malaysia mobile line while maintaining only 1 phone. I am not sure how to go about this, and will I be charged at higher rate because technically when any call comes from Singapore and directed to the Malaysian line, I will be charged for the overseas calls? And I am not sure if the prepaid Malaysia line can take overseas call?
I am currently holding iPhone 4S and subscribe to Singtel.
Any advice?
