Mobile Plan with non-data roaming

Hi all,

tl;dr: Looking for a mobile plan $10pm or under that allows one to receive SMS whilst overseas.

I currently live overseas (Australia), and have a Singapore phone number to receive bank SMS/OTP.

Currently paying $20/month with M1 which is way too much to just receive SMS. I am wanting to switch to something that costs $10/month or less. I do NOT need overseas data.

Been looking around on several websites but none seem to mention a plan for my use case.

Does anyone know of a plan that could work for me? Would something like Simba's SIM-Only 100GB suit (they don't specifically state overseas SMS)? Bonus points if I can receive calls from Singapore whilst overseas, but honestly not necessary.

Yes. SIMBA plan allows you to receive SMS OTP and Free Incoming calls in overseas.

if you are eligible for simba senior plan, go for it, at only $5/mth. otherwise, there is zero1 @ $7/mth

Thanks for that. That is why I posted, as there were no explicit mentions.

For your use case it is perfect as you are using it only overseas. It is using vodafone in australia if i not wrong, includes 1GB data.

Hi TS may I know which one did you go for eventually? I'm in the same situation as you. With the cessation of 3G from MyRepublic, now they are forcing me to subscribe to their roaming plan at 39.9 SGD/mth!
