I would say this depends.

If you are using it as a main line, I would recommend avoiding TPG, as what Yihong bro said.

Coverage is still a work in progress, plus sometimes OTP etc cannot be received.

But if you are using it as a secondary line to augment usage on your main line, it can be a legitimate option, as long as you manage your expectation and be prepared to switch from TPG to main line for data sometimes due to weak/zero service.

If you're using it as a main line, it depends on your use case.

If your area has good M1 service, MyRepublic Lite ($10) can be a decent option, as you get more talk, text and data than Giga ($10) which is on StarHub.

get MyRepublic Lite plan as it is limited.. if no like can port out later.

since there is no charges for simcard and shipping

forget about redONE 8 (unlimited data at 128kbps) the worst plan.. 3gb data and unlimited data speed is useless won't work. my colleague tested and port to MyRepublic Lite

MyRepublic switched to M1 since 31 March, any new subscribers from 31 March will be under M1. On why MR change to M1, we do not know the reasons, but based on faqs on their website, they wanted to provide VOLTE 4G voice and low latency network which only M1 provides. Starhub on the other hand had higher latency which does not really align with their fibre broadband of low latency mission.

On MR or giga better, it really depends on your area. Some areas M1 network is better than Starhub, whereas some areas Starhub excels. But one thing to note is MyRepublic has VOLTE, which gives them an edge over giga.
