Saw that both Mobilesquare and Whymobile is now selling Note 7 for $940. Called up Mobilesquare to enquire and the person who answered said that it is the new safe set. However found that he responded quite hesitantly. So am suspicious now because Kasia is only selling the replacement sets and at $928.

Anyone bought this new Note 7 from Mobilesquare or Whymobile and prove it is the safe set and totally new, not the replacement sets?

I never bought from them yet. But you can inspect the box, the replacement set has a black square on it compared to the original box earlier(which dont have one).

I'll post pic if required.

Thanks. Called both to investigate again and they confirmed they are selling the replacement sets. At least Kasia Mobile is more honest.

Remember that replacement sets are based on the original set. For example had I sold my replacement set to MS, when they resold it, the subsequent buyer cannot register the warranty as it already is registered to me on the day the exchange was made at Suntec.

It is not based on any receipt issued by MS, or activation date the phone was turned on.

So sldnt buy from Mobilesquare for now right? Must wait for brand new stock?

Yah. I am going to wait it out and not buy from these shops for now. The thing to watch out for is when Samsung officially re-release the phone again and if you buy from the non-official retailers, you need to check and double check that it is not exchanged sets.
