Symptom 1:
Could not switch on desktop. Mobo lights present.
Solution: When I switch off the switch at psu, then on it again after few hours, will then be able to switch on desktop once again.
Symptom 2:
When waking up from sleep, hdd lights and fans spins up for a split sec and everything went off suddenly. Mobo lights still present.
Could not switch on once again.
Resort to solution in Symptom 1. When sucessfully switched on, windows remain in the same state prior to sleep, just like hibernation.
Tried the psu paperclip test, works well.
Currently, I will make it a point to switch off psu every time to avoid Symptom 1
Anyone could pinpoint the exact issue? Thank you very much.
UPDATE: turns out is a faulty psu. rma it and working fine now.
