the processor seldom uplorry de...

I have a strong feeling e processor is ok n only e mobo is dead. I never overclock my cpu, the heatsink fan still working today n I just used hwmonitor tool this month that reported my cpu constantly between 37 degrees n 40 degrees nia.

Dun think it died from overheating.

Anyway are there any AM3 Asrock mobo widely available in SLS these days? I searched online but only see ASUS, MSI n Gigabyte nia. E.g. ASUS M5A78L-M LX n MSI 760GM-P23.

i built a similar setup for my uncle a yr back
msi880 + amd 545
one day he came to me saying cannot power up
I did all the troubleshooting same as you and think processor cannot die so easily.
brought to corbell to rma the mb but corbell said mb is ok
realise that the igpu inside the chip is spoilt.
send the amd chip to rma and get back a amd555.

suggest the final step for you to know is it mb or cpu at fault is to get either a spare mb or cpu to test it out.
