[Mobo] Which one would you choose?

Basically putting aside price difference, to build a rig for gaming, some encoding of videos, watching videos etc, and of course downloading stuff.

Which motherboard you would choose?

I have narrowed my list to just these 3 from 3 different brand.

Asus Z87 Sabertooth
MSI Z87-GD65 Gaming
AsRock Z87 Fatal1ty Professional

Gaming motherboard for gaming... and of course for the stability and durability... that is why I included in the Sabertooth which I think has good warranty...

In that case, maybe I should look at the distro behind the brand, I deal with Corbell many times and very happy with their service and RMA. My current MSI board still going strong... so...

Getting K and no OC? Or did you missed out OC in the 1st post? If so, then just go with Z87 Sabertooth if you really want 5yr coverage by BL, or just stick to Z87-GD65 since you're familiar with Corbell

Talk about shameless. In five years the mainstream socket confirm change already so 5 year warranty is pretty pointless. And the fact is for high-end stuff the distributor has less chance of having 1 to 1 exchange stock so you have a higher chance of having to wait for it to be repaired instead of getting an exchange. The $120-$150 saved can get a SSD already.

Probably will go with Z87-GD65 since I kinda dig the board design and I like Corbell as a distro.

Reseller valve will be higher for 5 years warranty board and TS can give the system to his/her family member. Since TS going use 4770k and this processor can handle most of the software within next 5 years.

Not everyone elite as you can afford to change every 2-3 years

Actually for gaming, CPU (i5 & up) and mamaboard since SB era won't need changing, only the graphics card will do
