I guess he's hoping that there's a PSU that accepts both male and female connectors so he doesn't have to waste the extensions that he bought.

No, I didn't. :)

I know from the start what he/she was asking but unfortunately there isn't any protocol, conformity or abide by rules for PSU manufacturer on their respective modular cable set pinout to be uniform across all brands/model.

He was asking if his extensions could be plugged in directly to the PSU, rather than merely being used as extensions with the included cables.
