Omg im nervous too! Im completely new in the EC industry so ive no idea what to expect and whether im gonna be good at it. Previously i was doing something completely different from teaching so this is REALLY new to me. See u guys at NP on the 1st march!!

Hi All!

I just applied for the Trained Teacher (EL) position and have received an invitation to interview.

Just wondering if anyone here has applied for Trained Teacher too and if the timeline was alright for you, assuming you were still employed in another organisation when you applied? Or how about those who applied for Untrained as a mid-career switch? Did the timeline suit well for you guys?

I have been so invested in reading the posts and it seems that MOE's timeline can really stretchhhhhh.. I'm already thinking of how and when to serve my notice/ inform my current employer should my interview next week go well but now also wondering how long to expect waiting for their reply after the interview?

Will be great if anyone can help! Thank you!

Hey guys! I applied for the trained MK English teacher and here’s my timeline so far.
19 Sep - Send application
26 October - Interview
3 November - Request for more documents (CPF statements, etc)
30 November - Email to attend medical exam
2 December - Medical exam at Raffles Medical
23 December - Confirmation of previous employer’s contact details for reference check.

Still waiting for the acceptance/appointment email..

hi! you applied for the trained teacher position? by supplementary form do you mean the one where you have to update ur expected salary? if yes, interesting how your flow differs! mine was done before the interview itself. anyway, hope your interview went well ytd!
