Hi, can anyone advise me on when the application window for the MK untrained program is? Is there only one intake per year?
I plan to apply for CCP with another pre-school if the next application window is more than 6 months later.

Hi u can visit the website and see. They will have the dates there

Hi there!
Anyone just went to the interview recently? I just went on Monday and I’m wondering how long is the waiting time to get the results of the interview?

I THINK my interview went well overall. Uhh, not fantastic for the MTL part haha.

Hi all,
I'm checking in regarding the 5-minute lesson presentation for the interview. Should it begin with a "greeting song," followed by discuss about the "weather," "day," and "date"? Because it is only 5 mins.

I didn’t do this for my interview tho… they didn’t ask me? 😱

hi, 2 weeks after my interview I got an email to go for a medical checkup! just received an email for the stint today as well.

Hello! I'm a mid career entrant interested in joining mk. Have a few questions, hopefully someone can help answer!

- The website says the 5 day stint is usually Jul-Oct but if we apply now in Sept we probably will miss this period, does that mean we'll have to wait for next year or is there another batch?
- How's the working hours for the teachers if anyone is already working there? Wonder if there's a lot of OT to handle after working hours.
- Does mk teachers also get all the civil servant bonuses?
- Anyone has comparison between mk and the other operators like my my first skool?

The application window information on the website has been updated. For applications from 18 September to 1 October, the start work date is on December 2023 or February 2024.

I'm also interested to know the working hours and the difference between MK and other schools.

Any current or ex MK teachers around to share?

This is the one for trained applicants. The window is not displayed for untrained applicants.

Hi, how long did it take for you to get the email for the stint? I went got the interview and medical already and just waiting for the next email.

i would say that I have a slight prob with my sugar during the medical. Had
GDM, and it still hasn’t gone awayyyyyyy. So I’m worried it would affect my application. :(

Hi there. I dont think gdm will affect ur application. Prob health issues that may cause harm to you or others.. esp children. Such as fainting spells.. or tuberculosis.. etc.. i believe gdm.. bp.. these are all still ok as long it wont affect ur performance at work..
It took about 2 months for them to get back with regard to the stint.
Currently waiting for offer letter.... i heard offer letters are usually made towards the end of the year. U r gg for the untrained programmw is it.

Just checking in... anyone know for untrained applicants.. during the training period.. we will receive a monthly salary am i right?
