Had to "babysit" some longkang fish that nephews brought home from some trip to fish farm. So got a bag of them, I sort of know how to keep fish so a small bag of fish "graduated" to 3 tanks of several hundred guppies and platys.

Then I recalled during covid Npiaks gave a lot of those seeds to plant at home so I setup a simple aquaponics and started to experiment. Now 4 days liao and my kang kong seedlings have sprouted.

GPGT.

Going to experiment with lettuce and mint later on.

Wish moi luck!

Kang kong and sai yong choy grows well. You can also try sweet potato leaf.
I am not sure you have enough fish to fertlize the lot tho.

Make sure you run an air pump in the planting substrate to avoid root rot

The root rot in substrate vs hydroponics style, how come different ah? I saw some people jitao water only.
Well, experiences can differ. Aerating roots has been shown to be beneficial. Ultimately the plants aren't entirely aquatic after all. The circulation caused by the air bubbles also helps prevent stagnant pockets from forming.
