moisturizer for winter in Japan

hi,

can anyone share what type of moisturiser you are using when you visit Japan in winter ?

do you buy from singapore and use it in japan or is there any moisturizer which you bought in japan and is good for use in winter in japan ?

i am going to Tokyo in Feb 2020 and people say that it is freaking cold and need to apply good moisturizer or else skin will crack and bleed,

although i have been to Japan a few times but never been in Feb which people said is the coldest,

can anyone share their experience about moisturizers to use,

Agree with this. Anything also can. Also use comfy shoes, heel crack no joke liao, painful to walk

Can get a bottle of Vaseline, apply liberally after bathing in the evening, like applying suntan lotion. This doesn’t prevent skin crack but it keeps your skin moisturized. This is because the indoor heating turns the air dry.

The main reason your skin will crack is because of moisture, I.e. wash hands but never dry them. When contact with the cold wind will crack your skin. Same for wetting your lips outdoor. For heels, probably because not wearing waterproof shoes.

you get one that your skin reacts well to, not badly to.

whichever moisturizer works for me may not work for you.

Avene theres a cold cream specially for winter. Works well can buy in guardian.

Need nasal ointment too for dry nose to prevent bleeding

Generally, there is a bigger range of moisturiser products in Japan than in Singapore. And coming here in winter, these items are often on discount in the pharmacies.
