Mojave freezes

Nope. But i think accessing AFP mounted NAS become slow. I haven’t really checked in which scenarios....things like downloading file from Safari link to NAS now become really sluggish..

Yep, and battery life is worst compared to the previous OS.

agreed on battery life. love the dark mode but the tradeoffs is

hope they issue a fix soon. been checking app store updates to no avail

mojave 10.14.1 when live this morning. You tried?

thanks. have not updated but i will tonite

it seemed better this 2-3 days. no freezing, keyboard weirdness. even better battery life but i was skeptical


anyways to share i did these 3 steps to try to stop the problems

1 disable spotlight search on mac hard disk

2 turn off siri

3 reset nvram

Mine freezes very often. Tried reset SMC n n ram. Works for a couple of days n the freezing came back. Mine is the Macbook Pro end 2016 model that previously had battery issues (ww replacement)

430pm 86% sleep

4hrs later 830pm its at 84%

battery drain seems fixed



trackpad still freezed for awhile

Nice... i was googling for a solution to disable auto-on by any key press on the keyboard. Am using 2018 model.
