Hkd pegged to USD. USD won't drop this year, but will keep going up, and thus so will HKD.

Really, don't wait anymore liao. If don't totally believe, at least change half first now lol. Or you can go ask any of your friends who follow financial news about USD upcoming trend within these two years.

hkd seems to be slightly higher than a few weeks ago, dunno whether will go up next week. i just changed anyway. 5.642 at arcade (sheen) seems to be one of the highest. nice new crisp hkd500 notes. at first, was worried that they still give hkd1000.

you went arcade which shop ah? but your rate much better than mine luh lol, can save S$13.60 per hk$5000 based on your feb rate of 5.73.

No, don't think it's possible at those individual small money changers. If you go to those banks' forex counters at changi airport, maybe can. But rates sure bad one.

Better to change in SG ba. When I was in HK last week, the rate for SGD there quite bad, like 5.2 or 5.3 only. Or maybe I see wrongly....

If changing in Singapore, just go to Arcade building at Raffles Place. Second floor got many money changers, so rates are competitive. You can pick and choose....

Change from SGD to HKD is better in SG.
