I am in a desperate need of a good money management software (free or paid). It should be able to manage my business accounts, personal savings accounts and of course, credit cards and other outgoing expenses.

Should have triggers for due dates etc.

I was looking at intuit money manager (quicken money) but they dont have singapore version, neither mint.com have one.

anyone know a solid singapore focussed money management software?

I use Microsoft Money for years and it is the only reason why I am still using Windows :). Anyway, it is now FREE...

Microsoft Money Download

I dun know why you need a "Singapore focus" software. What you need the "Singapore part" for ? Bank download ? GST ?

I find that i can do EVERYTHING in Microsoft Money.

thanks will download the home and business version and try it out. As long as i can set SGD, USD and other CCY and manage them in different accounts, i should be fine. since i deal with mutliple currencies i need the software to be flexible.

also noticed a new online serviced called bundle.com: http://money.bundle.com/mymoney

yes you can.. only thing is that there are no online update of currencies exchange rate anymore so that's a slight problem.

But then I never use it either.. for exchange rate between my USD and my SGD account, I manually input the SGD amount and the USD amount and the system just calculate the exchange rate.

if you want something that does envelope budgeting very well yet portable across mac, linux and windows, there is this opensource app call KMyMoney.

it is from my experience the closest thing to Quicken that allows you to do Envelope budgeting. For those who need help with a budgeting methodology > Personal Zero-Based Budgeting

If you want something free that enables you to manage your investment assets by transactions, including auto updating stock prices in multiiple exchange, you can try my Stock Portfolio Tracker which a lot of folks have told me you cant find another on the internet.

Our Free Online Investment Stock Portfolio Tracking Spreadsheet

Recently I started to use YNAB instead of MICROSOFT money. I like the iPhone app as it means I can quickly on spot check if I have budget to buy 4D and update my expenses right on the spot too.

It will be better if customized for local banks, especially those do not support qif statement download.

YNAB is good.. been using it for over a year now. Best time to get it is during steam sales.
